Eric Seale is currently serving in his second full season as Artistic Director of Actors Guild of Lexington. He first joined the staff as Director of Audience Development in 2007, and later served as Associate Artistic Director during the 25th Anniversary Season. THE AGONY AND THE ECSTASY OF STEVE JOBS marks Eric's first on stage appearance at the South Elkhorn theatre. Previous AGL acting credits include VINCENT IN BRIXTON, TARTUFFE, and LOVE'S LABOURS LOST. AGL directing credits include THE LOVE SONG OF J. ROBERT OPPENHEIMER, THE CLEAN HOUSE, BREATHING CORPSES, END DAYS, A VERY MERRY UNAUTHORIZED CHILDREN'S SCIENTOLOGY PAGEANT, DEAD MAN'S CELL PHONE, TOMMY-The Concert, THE SANTALAND DIARIES, and THE PILLOWMAN
Other directing credits include LOOT, TRUE WEST, SIX DEGREES OF SEPARATION and ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST (Studio Players); THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (ABRIDGED) and AMERICAN BUFFALO (Balagula Theatre). Eric also directed numerous editions of the "Surprise Theatre" series and for The 2nd Annual 10-Minute Play Festival.
Despite his busy schedule for AGL Eric has appeared on stage in several recent productions around Lexington, including RICHARD III (Summerfest), THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW (AGL/BCTC), and as "Harry Roat" in WAIT UNTIL DARK (Studio Players).
